I was fortunate to spend some time interviewing customers that have been coming for food as if they were visiting their own grandmas. Hard working men and women com throughout the week to buy and cater this food that will make any event a success. I know there are a lot of tasty foods through out Georgia but when I saw the owner Cola going the extra mile to add free entertainment for her customers cater and bring food to events and manage to be friendly and welcoming, this place became the deal breaker. She took the time and answered my questions... or was it because I'm a copywriting blogger??? Who cares! This woman is Awesome with a capital "A"!
No where else will you come and be entertained like this without spending a great deal of money. You can come after church and on certain days and join a festive environment that is fun and exciting and will take you away from all your worries...for a little while.
This place is small but is packed with people and entertainment with no problem; magical! I checked out the photos of events on their Facebook and couldn't believe the amount of people that pack in. You make this happen CoCo!!! You are the reason your on my list of places to go in Georgia!!

Why I Chose We Got Soul As a Place To Visit In Near Atlanta Georgia
I heard about this restaurant by chance and decided to find it and see it for myself. I enter in a back way and was lost and couldn't find the location. I asked a gentleman if he knew of the place and he told me I was there. I was behind the building! Dang GPS!! I later found out this very nice man was the husband of the owner Coco who was indeed just as friendly unlike some owners that are beyond greeting their own potential clients.. We Got Soul Food Restaurant is an African American woman owned business. Heeeey! We Got Soul was inspired and established in 2012 by Shatarreca Pettiford affectionately referred to as Cola. With the support of her husband and family this courageous woman caters and markets her business where ever she goes.
Once you meet Cola you'll never forget her; this friendly busy womantrepreneur (yes, I made that word) is a sister, daughter and friend to all. It was my honor to meet this lovely innovative entrepreneur that doesn't sit still for anyone.
